Postage & dispatch info

All orders start with £4 postage plus 50p extra for each additional item. Orders over £100 qualify for free postage. Orders are dispatched within 10 working days plus allow up to 5 days for postage. Overall allow 3 weeks to receive your order - please take this into consideration when ordering.

Problems with Ordering?

If you have any issues with the ordering process, please email me at as we can process your order this way, whilst we investigate and address any issues.

The greatest care has been made to supply a full description of the items available on the website. However as each item is handmade to order the image on the website may differ from the final item. The printing colours have been portrayed on the website as accurately as possible however there may be variations due to individual computer screen resolution and contrast.

Payment can be made via PayPal or by using most credit / debit cards, excluding American Express and full payment will be taken when your order is processed. If you wish to pay by BACS please contact us. If you wish to pay by cheque it should be made payable to Elizabeth Smith, but your items will not be processed until payment has cleared.

It is our aim for your order to be dispatched within 10 working days of placing the order. Smaller orders will be sent via Royal Mail and larger orders and those qualifying for free delivery will be sent via a courier and can take up to 5 days to arrive. We will deliver to the address provided by you at the time of ordering, please ensure this address is correct when you receive your electronic invoice. If the details provided are incorrect we cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed items. We cannot however be held responsible for missing items or a delay in Royal Mail / the courier company delivering your item or you being unavailable to receive your goods. If an order is not received by the customer and is instead returned to Mrs Smith Designs you the customer will be responsible for the full cost of re-posting the order as charged by Royal Mail/the courier. If items are not received please contact us and we will endeavour to investigate and/or obtain compensation from the delivery company, and only once this has been received by us will the compensation or replacement items be sent on to you.

If items are out of stock or there will be a delay in fulfilling your order you will be informed as soon as possible and you are entitled to cancel your order if this time frame is not acceptable.

We may cancel an order in the following circumstances: where stock is unavailable, where payment has not been received or if there has been a pricing or product description error. If an order is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note, unless faulty, if your order has been processed or dispatched you are not able to cancel your order, request an exchange or refund as all items on the Mrs Smith Designs website are made to order to your specifications which means they cannot be resold. This is in accordance with the THE CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) REGULATIONS 2000 (SI 2000 No. 2334) Chapter 6.1c. If your order has not been processed (which usually happens 5 days after ordering to allow time to do the design, order in the clothing item etc) and you notice an issue with your order or would like to change the item colour/size or design/text please get in touch as this can often be changed easily.

All items are checked and rechecked and photographs are often taken prior to sending out your items to help ensure that all orders are perfect. Personalised items can only be exchanged or refunded if the item was faulty on arrival or incorrectly printed by Mrs Smith Designs. Faulty items are entitled to an exchange or refund within 7 days after the day on which you receive the goods. Faulty items need to be returned or photos of the fault provided before a replacement will be arranged.

Personalised items will be printed to your specifications and using the exact text you submit on your order. We therefore strongly encourage you to check your use of capital letters/spelling and double check your order before submitting it. We therefore cannot accept responsibility for you mistyping your required text. If you notice an error in your order when it has been submitted it may be possible to rectify it if you get in touch asap (see above). If however the text is mis-spelt due to an error by Mrs Smith Designs we will happily replace the item.  The layout of the text and / or design for personalised items will be at the desecration of Mrs Smith Designs to develop the best possible design for your item. Script MT Bold font uses a large lower case ‘a’ instead of a capital ‘A’, if you are not happy with this please choose a different font. If you wish to receive a theoretical image of your items prior to them being printed please email Mrs Smith Designs at the time of placing the order. If you are ordering a set such as a tracksuit set or pyjama set which includes a top and a bottom the design printed on the hip of the bottoms may vary from the design on the top – please see the Design Gallery page for information.

Free postage is available on orders over £100 using a 3-5 day courier company. If you require your items sooner, this must be discussed first, or extra postage paid to upgrade to a speedier delivery company.

All images and content on this website are the copyright (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) and are owned by Mrs Smith Designs, by Liz Smith. No part of this website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service. Images may not be used to resell any of products without prior permission.
